Payments on computers with Kaspersky Anti-Virus
For payments made through Brisbane City Council's Online Services, it has been identified there is an issue with any made on computers which have the Kaspersky ‘Safe Money’ enabled.
To avoid this issue, users can set up an exception in Kaspersky Safe Money on their computer for Brisbane City Council’s Online Services to allow successful payments and transactions.

If you have an Online Services account that has been deactivated,
you can have the account reactivated by calling Brisbane City Council on 07 3403 8888

Please note for Fast track applications with less than 10 fixtures,
an additional fee may be applicable if there is a related Development Application.

Building Certification (Private Building Certifiers only). Council is aware of the new Planning Act requirement which commences 3 July 2017 for DA Form 2. Council is currently in the process of updating the Building Documentation Attachments screen to reflect the change.

Customers may use this online service to request waste collection services to premises inside the Brisbane City boundary for:

  • Provision of green waste bins to residential properties;
  • Provision of increased recycling capacity to residential properties;
  • Provision of all waste collection services to a newly built residential property;
  • Provision of waste collection services to multi unit residential dwellings;
  • Provision of recycling service to Commerce and Industry; and
  • Report a bin problem.

Customers may not use this online service to:

  • Order or request a service outside the Brisbane area.

These terms and conditions protect the rights and privacy of all people using the Brisbane City Council's online services. You must accept these terms and conditions of use in order to register for, or use, these services.

As a user, you are also bound by the Council's privacy and copyright statement and any other terms contained on this website.

When the term "we", "us" or "our" is used, it refers to the owner of the site, Brisbane City Council (ABN 72 002 765 795).

Breach of terms and conditions of use

If you breach any of the terms and conditions of use, we may suspend, terminate or limit your access to this website. If we choose not to do this, it does not mean we waive our right to act with respect to future or similar breaches.

  4. Use another's name, username or password without permission.
  5. Post, or transmit to or via Council's website any obscene, indecent, inflammatory or pornographic material, or material that could give rise to civil or criminal proceedings.
  6. Tamper with, hinder the operation of, or make unauthorised modifications to this website.
  7. Knowingly transmit any virus or other disabling feature to this website.
  8. If you are under 18 years of age, you need to obtain a parent/guardian's consent prior to using these online services.

Use of your information and material

The personal information collected on this online transaction will be used by us for the purposes of fulfilling your request and undertaking associated Council functions and services. This information may be used to contact you in future but it will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent unless required or permitted to do so by law.

All fees displayed and services offered on this site can be changed without notice.

We can also vary the terms and conditions of use at any time. It is a requirement of entering the Council's online services that you read and accept these terms and conditions every time before using these services.

Payment for services

Generally, once requested services have been provided by Brisbane City Council, there will be no refund. If we have commenced work on provision of the requested service(s), we will consider applications for partial refund. If we have not commenced work on the provision of the requested service(s) we will provide a full refund.

All applications for refunds must be in writing.

Access

If there is a prolonged period of inactivity between your browser and the Council's website servers, you may be disconnected or we may ask you to resubmit a security password. We are not responsible for any information you may lose if a disconnection occurs.

Indemnity

You indemnify us and our officers, employees, agents and related bodies from, and against, all actions, claims, suits, demands, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of, or in any way connected to, your use of this website.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Users and owners of Council's website, and other associated parties, submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland courts for determining any dispute concerning this agreement.

If any of these terms and conditions of use are invalid or unenforceable, they will be struck out. All other terms will remain in force.
